Waste Plastic Recycling Industry
Currently, the global plastics industry is growing rapidly, with global plastic production increasing from 1.5 million tons to 400 million tons from 1950-2019 alone, and plastic production in 2050 is expected to reach 1,124 million tons. Only 9% of all plastic waste generated is recycled. About 12% of plastic waste is incinerated, and the remaining 79% accumulates in landfills, dumps or in the natural environment.

Pyrolysis Technology for Waste Plastic Recycling
Waste plastics typically come from a variety of sources including household waste, commercial and industrial waste, and agricultural waste. Beston’s plastic pyrolysis equipment can help process the following categories of common plastic waste:
PE Plastic (Polyethylene): Packaging, plastic flowers, buckets, toys, etc;
PP Plastic (Polypropylene): Bags, drawing, packaging, daily necessities, toys, etc;
PS Plastic (polystyrene): Lampshades, instrument covers, toys, etc.

Final Product Applications
Waste plastics can get pyrolysis oil or wax oil (50-60%), syn gas (20-30%) and residue (20-30%) through pyrolysis process. Pyrolysis oil can be directly used as fuel, or sent to petrochemical refining to get commercial gasoline and commercial diesel, wax oil can be directly used in heavy oil generating sets after heating and liquefaction, and non-standard gasoline components can be obtained from the catalytic pyrolysis oil of plastics after distillation.
